ROK (AUSTRALIA) "UNDER A SOUTHERN SKY" 7"EP 2001 IRON PEGASUS. I have been intrigued by this solo project by the singer of SADISTIK EXEKUTION but never had the balls to buy his CD, so I prefered just buying this EP and I must say that at the first notes, it delivers an approximate similar mood to "The Magus" but also incorporates some old BLACK SABBATH riffs, some would say that is a rock 'n' roll oriented music and that's true but the evilness of his voice makes it taking a new level in a higher dimension. The legendary speed of his main band with a thousand riffs per minute has been put in a corner to the point of returning at the basic simplicity: HELLHAMMER/CELTIC FROST/VENOM alike. Almost the same sound as the "We Are Death, Fuck You" album, I'm particularly curious to hear the whole ROK album now.
